Hot-dip galvanizing is a metallurgical process that is used to coat
steel or iron with zinc. This is done to prevent galvanic corrosion
(specifically rusting) of the ferrous item. Technology and know-how
associated with 55% Aluminum-Zinc alloy coated sheet steel, known
as Galvalume.
MTi's Galvanizing Line features the latest
technological advancements in all phases of the process. All mechanical
components of the line feature precision and rugged construction required
for high production and maximum reliability.
MTi provides entry and exit terminal equipment,
strip accumulators, strip cleaning, furnaces, coating, cooling, shape
and surface conditioning, and chemical treatments for each line.
